Here is a recipe I made this weekend.Â I know that I already have a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie recipe on here, but I also wanted to share the milk chocolate version.Â It mimicsÂ one of my favorite cookies from aÂ very famous “farm” brand,Â but, trust me, it is much more cost effective to make your own!Â Â Enjoy!
Milk Chocolate Macadamia NutÂ Cookies
- 2 Â¼ cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter, softened, 2 sticks
- Â¾ cup granulated sugar
- Â¾ cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract (I prefer Sonoma Syrup Co. Vanilla Crush Extract)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 â€“ 12oz packageÂ milk chocolate chips
- 1.5 cups chopped macadamia nuts
Preheat oven to 375.Â Combine flour, baking soda, baking powderÂ and salt in small bowl and set aside.Â Â Â Next, beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy.Â Add eggs, one at a time, beat well.Â Gradually add flour mixture.Â Stir in white chocolate and macadamia nuts.Â Drop by TBSP full onto ungreased baking sheet.Â Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
Note, dough balls can be stored in freezer and be baked individually.Â For preparation from frozen, increase baking time to 17-20 minutes.
