Whipped Sorbet

Are you looking for a guilt free way to indulge this summer?  Here is a cool and easy recipe that can even count as a serving of fruit for the day!






Whipped Sorbet

  • 3 large bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 3 cups frozen berries (i used mixed strawberry, blueberry, and blackberry)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrap down the sides of the bowl occasionally.  It will be the consistency of soft serve ice cream.  Enjoy!  (for a real treat top with spoonful of your favorite greek yogurt)

  1. Yes….I had 2 bowls yesterday and didn’t feel the least bit guilty. Another tip, if you are not into sorbets and like something with just a touch of cream, try adding 1/4 cup of fat free sweetened condensed milk to the food processor. It’s great! 🙂
