Sour Cream Ranch Biscuits

Looking for something quick and delicious to serve with dinner tonight?  These biscuits are packed with flavor and the smells are sure to have your family hovering around the oven until they are ready!  Warning, you may want to make a double batch if you have hungry guests!

 

 

 

Sour Cream Ranch Biscuits

  • 2 cups Bisquick biscuit mix
  • 1/4 Cup Hidden Valley Ranch Powder
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cold club soda or beer
  • Shredded Parmesan Cheese (about 1/4 cup for topping biscuits)

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.  In a mixing bowl, whisk together biscuit mix and ranch dressing powder.  Add sour cream and cut together using a pastry blender or gently rubbing your hands together until it forms pea to marble sized bits of dough.  (don’t over mix)

Next, add the club soda in one batch and gently fold with a fork until the dough wants to stick together.  This dough will be very soft.  Once again, do not over mix…this will lead to a tough and heavy biscuit.

Drop biscuits by the tablespoon full (or mixing spoon if you want large biscuits) onto an ungreased cookie sheet.  Top each biscuit with a pinch of parmesan cheese.  Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.  Enjoy!

Makes 12 biscuits
